MAKE A MONETARY DONATION!

The on-going support of our programs and  the maintenance of the house is made possible through donations from generous individuals, parishes and organizations who faithfully support our Redemptorist mission.  There are 3 ways you can consider making a donation:

• By cheque (made to The Welcome Home) and sent to The Welcome Home 188 Euclid Ave., Winnipeg, MB., R2W 2X4   All donations over $10 will receive a receipt for tax purposes.  Tax receipts are issued early in the new year.  
• By interac e-transfer via  wehome24@outlook.com   Please include your mailing address in the message box.  
• By credit card online -  click the button on the front page and it will take you directly to CanadaHelps  OR go to  canadahelps.org  - select "donate to charities" and look for The Welcome Home - A Mission of St. Alphonsus Inc.    Canada Helps will issue your tax receipt promptly. 

VOLUNTEER!  

The Welcome Home relies on volunteers to do what it does!  We are always looking for more Winnipeg people to plug into our schedule and needs when they have the time.   If you are interested in volunteering once a week, once a month or even at some of our special events, please contact us!

HELP OUR FOOD BANK!

 We have an ongoing need throughout the year for non-perishable food items. It is not unusual for there to be 40 people at our door on Wednesday morning for our Groceries and Lunch program. Please consider sharing food donations with us throughout the year.

Here are ideas of what we need and use:

• Proteins: beans, chicken, ham, klik, tuna, salmon, sardines, spam, etc.
• Variety of can soup, dry packaged soups, chicken or vegetable, pkg cereal (porridge) rice roni, sidekicks.
• Pasta, canned tomatoes whole or cut, pasta sauces and tomato paste.
• Variety canned vegetables, fruit and powdered jello.
• Hygiene products like small shampoos, conditioners, combs, tissues, toothbrushes and paste.
